ThreadCount

For cross-stitchers on iPad & Mac

Every stitch, counted.

ThreadCount reads supported cross-stitch PDF and OXS patterns and turns them into a living chart. Select one stitch, a whole run, or every stitch of a colour, then confirm them together. Park threads, follow your progress, and watch every colour count down to done.

Select a few squares, then confirm them together.

From pattern file to first stitch in a minute

No retyping, no re-charting, no printing page 7 again because the highlighter bled through.

STEP 1

Import your chart

Import supported PDF or OXS patterns, from single-page designs to large multi-page charts. ThreadCount reads the grid, symbols, and legend, then shows any warnings for you to review before matching threads to real DMC colours.

STEP 2

Stitch on screen

Multi-page charts become one seamless, zoomable pattern. Select one stitch, drag across a run, or choose every stitch of one colour, then confirm the change when you are ready.

STEP 3

Watch it fill in

Per-colour counts tick down as you go. Park a thread at its next stitch, explore private statistics and achievements, and always know exactly where you left off.

Your patterns are yours

No account. No tracking. Not ever.

Your charts and progress live on your device and sync privately through your own iCloud — so a lost or replaced iPad never costs you a WIP. We run no servers, collect no data at all, and can't see your stitching even if we wanted to. The privacy policy is short enough to actually read.
